4 Teas That Help With Weight Loss

In one study published in the Journal of Neurological and Orthopedic Medicine, when participants smelled peppermint every two hours, they lost an average of five pounds a month. Some people will even put a few drops of peppermint oil on their pillow to quell their desire for a midnight snack.

Rooibos Tea

Rooibos tea has enjoyed a recent upsurge in popularity, but you may still never have tried it. Rooibos comes from the South African red bush plant. Rooibos may help with weight loss because it contains a flavonoid called aspalathin. Aspalathin reduces the production of stress hormones that contribute to hunger and fat storage and are associated with a variety of health problems, including heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension. Sipping rooibos tea daily may help control these hormones, reducing your fat composition.
